From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Alan Aldridge is a UK artist born in 1943.  During the 60s & 70s he illustrated numerous album covers and book covers.  This popular The Butterfly Ball and Grasshopper Feast (1980) and his Beatles Illustrated Lyrics (1969) helped create the graphic style associated with the cultural revolution of that age.  Other notable books include the Ship’s Cat (1977) and Peacock’s Party (1979)
