DADARA

Dadara and Jesse are a veejaying duo from Amsterdam, who together made the movie "Fall and Rise of the Fools Ark"

It's a part-animated story of the Greymen and their battle against the Fools Ark, a 15 metres long wooden ship built in Holland , transported to the States and burnt in the Nevada desert. Footage from the construction of Dadara's Fool's Ark at Burning Man is intertwined into an audio-visual journey through forgotten worlds to tell the tale behind the project. This journey is guided by the music from Lamb

"Far away in the Unknown Territories still not discovered by the Evil Eye of the Kingdom of Greed, a few men are building an Ark to save the few fools left on earth from corporate evil..."

Dadara is a contemporary painter/sculptor/installation artist from Amsterdam, who regularely exhibits at the Reflex Modern Art Gallery in Amsterdam. He got known designing flyers, doing live paintings and recordsleeves for the emerging housescene beginning of the nineties. Other projects include the 8 metres high Greyman Statue of No Liberty, baby shaped loudspeakers for B&W, and campaigns for Greenpeace and Absolut Vodka.

Jesse Limmen is an animator/ graphic-artist/ woodcarver and cameraman also from amsterdam. Started in commercial business designing websites burned out of the boring corporate world, and started to make animations and free work. Made several big animation projects for national TV, and live concerts. Next to commercial work, woodcarving is one of his strong points.
